SPX4420 SPRAYER

The Case IH SPX 4260 sprayer was introduced in 1998 as the flagship model of Case IH sprayers.  It quickly gained customer awareness as the machine positioned for the future.   The machine's unique North American configuration provided a quiet, cool cab, a superb field ride, depth of power availability and control, and greater agronomic management.
Now Case IH continues the tradition with the SPX4420, the next generation class IV sprayer.

Here's what you'll see in this next generation Class IV sprayer:
      *   Case IH 8.3 liter Tier III emission-compliant engine rated at 290 hp.
      *   A grid heater has been added to the engine package for better cold
           weather starting capabilities.
      *   A luxury cab option is available that includes a heated red leather
seat, a leather instructional seat, a leather wrapped steering wheel and
           carpeted floor mat.
      *   New electronic A-Post instrumentation helps you track important
           machine functions.
      *   EZ-Fold boom control replaces multiple functions with a single
           switch.
      *   Wheel track adjustment on the SPX4420 sprayer ranges from 120 to
157". Track width indicators have been added to the slide bars.
      *   An optional rotary beacon is available to bring added visibility to the
           machine.
      *   An optional auxiliary mounting bar for the Surveyor™ cab is available
for placement of optional equipment or aftermarket components.

That's what's new.  Now let's step back and look at the bigger picture; the differentiating features that have established the productive reputation of the Case IH Class IV models:

Surveyor Cab--excellent visibility, room enough to stretch without  standing, controls within easy reach and operator comfort  that is appreciated in the field.
AIM Command--Pulse Width Modulation flow control to selectively control drift and consistently apply the optimum chemical droplet size across the entire field for greater profitability.
Engine and Electronic Propel System--a Case IH 8.3 liter engine rated at 290 HP with a 9.6% power bulge to 310 HP and a  maximum torque of 1020 ft-lbs.  This very durable engine matches field demands and operates aggressively and

comfortably with good "lugging" power.  Electronic torque management provides maximum engine torque through the propel system to the ground, over the entire speed range and with a "cruise" control.
Active Suspension--for quick response out of stops and turns and for aggressive hill-climbing capability.
Boom Versatility--maximizes equipment investment by providing the flexibility to handle both chemical and fertilizer applications, with crop clearance of 19" to 84".
